Sunlight Details

Shade tolerant and accepts as little as two hours of sunlight per day.  Develops thatch if excess sunlight, we generally utilize in shaded areas ONLY.  It should not be utilized in 100% shade, if weeds are not growing and you have bare dirt then sod will not grow, either.

Maintenance Details

It can be cut as low as 3" and as high as 3.5" to achieve maximum health. Fungus can be a major concern in very wet areas. After 4-5 years, tends to build up thatch when planted in direct sunlight.
